Lanner House Celebrates 20 Years

Lanner House was founded in 1997 by a group of local parents who wished to ensure that their children received a good quality education which allowed for individual teaching, confident development with strong values to equip learners for their future academic success.

private-school-worcester-south-africa-lanner-house-8Today the primary school is situated in Bersig, at its new venue Mountain View Campus overlooking the Worcester dam with a fantastic view of the Brandwacht Mountains. The Preschool and School Administration premises are situated at 31 & 33 Lyons Street, a short distance from the Primary School campus.

Lanner House caters for children from the year in which they turn 2 to Grade R at the Pre School Campus, and Grade 1 to 7 at the Mountain View Campus

Academic:

The school is registered with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) and with the Independent School Association (ISASA).

Lanner follows the CAPS curriculum with qualified teachers who are registered and dedicated to the teaching of our learners.

Our classes offer a low pupil to teacher ratio allowing for the learners individual needs and aspirations to be met.
Our school curriculum includes music, drama and arts to ensure our learners are well balanced.

Sports:
Lanner house is proud to have teachers that are passionate about sports to help balance the learner’s academic stimulation with exercise.
Sports is mostly done during the school day except for some external sports and sport events.

We offer:
Chess, Swimming, Hockey, Mini Cricket, Rugby, Athletics, Cross country and Mountain biking.
